Not much is needed to know about this period of the bot. (If you would need to know, I have barely anything archived anyway.) At this point, the bot was purely made for a friend, and that’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. Kind of admirable, looking back on it.
Fun fact: back then, the bot ran on the WOKCommands framework. This framework was neat, but it definitely had it’s limits.
Also, to me it was clear: I HAD NO CLUE WHAT I WAS DOING.
If you need to imagine how scuffed the bot was, imagine a potato. 🥔 Now imagine said potato being on fire. 🔥🥔🔥 Nice for some time, but then it starts getting overcooked. Yikes. Just like the bot. 🔥🤖🔥
The bot only really started being somewhat decent-ish in August, where I finally decided to make the bot into something more than the very bare minimum.
That year, literally no updates happened. Quite a break, especially considering the momentum that was built up just a couple of months ago. That was a… messy year, to say the least. I decided to restructure some things and work on some other projects in this time.
This is the time when I realized the true potential of the bot, as well as where I wanted to go with it.
It was time to make the bot go global.
